Sustainable collaborative residences: overlooking residences

Sustainable collaborative residences: overlooking residences
The Overlook Residences is a collaborative project between altruists in Idaho and the Canadian building contractor Cabn. The structures represent a harmonious fusion of historical architectural influences and innovative sustainable construction.

Altruist and CABN were inspired by traditional highly structures such as barns, ranches and log cabins for this project. Therefore, the overlook residences interpret classic gable silhouettes with modern cross-laminated timber construction. The design pays homage to the rough simplicity of mountain life, while CABN's Core Technology ™-a prefabricated, carbon with carbon-oriented building system for efficiency, durability and environmental responsibility is brought into harmony. The interiors underline the natural aesthetics of exposed destroyed wooden walls and floors that not only observe carbon, but also cause a feeling of heat and connection to the surrounding landscape. Large windows improve the immersive experience, the view of the forest roof and the reinforcement of a tree house-like ambience.
