The renovation and expansion of the 3400 Laguna Street in San Francisco in Marina fulfilled the final permits of the city of San Francisco and also received a determination of CEQA this month. The project can now start expanding the facilities by more than 58,000 square meters.

HKS Architects is responsible for the new designs and creates a building that is supplemented both in the appearance and the existing historical buildings. The proposed renovation requires the partial demolition of the Perry building and the building of the health center, which makes 23 new care suites. The new building will also include new parking spaces that increase the total rooms of the site to 36, with 18 new bicycle rooms.

The project, which has been in the works since 2022, was reported by SF Yimby in front of the planning commission at the beginning of this year. Now that the permits have been received, the project can move to the construction.
