On January 14, Roads & Bridges launches a podcast exploring how technology is shaping infrastructure. Produced by Endeavor Business Media, the Infrastructure Technology Podcast, or ITP, is a collaboration with Mass Transit Magazine, one of our sister publications.
Episodes are released every other Tuesday. The bi-weekly show is hosted by Gavin Jenkins, senior editor of Roads & Bridges, Brandon Lewis, associate editor of Mass Transit, and Harlee Hewitt, associate editor of Roads & Bridges and Construction Equipment, another sister publication of ours at Endeavor Business Media.
Roads & Bridges digital editor Ryan Curtiss will produce the episodes.
The ITP offers interviews with experts and thought leaders in the industry as well as discussion panels.
The podcast explores leading software, changes to construction equipment, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, new data sets, connected and automated vehicle corridors, and how technology impacts safety, supply chain, congestion, and asset management.
We are looking for experts to help us explore the following topics on the show:
- Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Digital twins.
- AI and machine learning.
- Automation and robotics (including drones and 3D printing).
- Smart materials.
- Smart construction sites (wearables and Internet of Things).
- Exoskeletons.
If there are technology topics you would like to learn more about, or if you have experts you would like us to recommend for an interview, please contact our team. We would love to hear from you.
You are also allowed to contact us and suggest yourself as a podcast guest. RB
