The Center for Research & Technology Hellas (Certh) is proud to start the start of the Setup of dynamic energy rating instrument (BDEA)an advanced platform that was developed within which Ren+Homes project. The tool defines the way buildings are evaluated on energy performance and intelligent readiness
The Setup of dynamic energy rating instrument (BDEA)developed by The Center for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) in the Ren+Homes EU-financed project is a platform to evaluate the energy performance and intelligent willingness of buildings by integrating state-of-the-art methods and European certification systems.
The BDEA tool introduces a holistic certification framework that smears Asset and company valuationOrientation to the latest European standards (EN ISO 52000: 2017 series). It improves the evaluation process through inclusion Smart Readiness Indicators (Sri) Assessment of the ability of a building to integrate intelligent technologies. In addition, the platform offers two unique tools – the Renovation -Roadmapping tool and the Sri consultant– The users in optimizing energy efficiency and intelligent standby strategies that are tailored to their specific needs. In order to ensure seamless documentation and accessibility, all building data are systematically recorded within A Logbook for digital buildings.
“The BDEA platform represents a significant step forward when evaluating the energy performance and renovation planning. By using advanced digital tools and AI-controlled recommendations, we enable the stakeholders to make well-founded decisions that improve the structure of sustainability and efficiency.” said Strawos KoltsiosScientific staff at Certh.
Platform development and important functions
While Some components The BDEA platform was initially developed in previous research projects (D) The tool was revised within Ren+houses To meet the needs of the developing industry.
The most important functions include:
Test and use
The BDEA platform was successful tested at four pilot points:
- New constructions: Implemented in Austria and Spain Evaluation of energy efficiency and intelligent readiness in the design phase.
- Existing buildings: Applied in Romania and Estonia Rate the performance and generate tailor -made renovation recommendations.
Current status and future developments
The platform has completed its Initial development phase And Is through The link https://ren-plus-homes.iti.gr/. In the meantime it continues to develop with New functions and improvements. His applications extend over both Construction and operation Building phases, which makes it a versatile instrument for various stakeholders in the energy and building industry.
About Ren+Homes
Ren+Homes is a project financed by EU, which is intended to contribute a sustainable transition from reducing carbon emissions of the buildings and to combat resource shortage and energy poverty. For this purpose, Ren+Homes develops a universal methodology for positive energy houses and residential areas, prepares a number of key technologies and the integration of software solutions for the rationalization of processes. The project's solutions are demonstrated in four demo locations in Europe, Austria, Spain, Romania and in Estonia. Ren+Homes started in June 2023 and ended in November 2026.
About Certh
The Center for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) is one of the leading research institutions in Europe and is devoting itself to the further development of technological innovations in several areas, including energy, environment and intelligent cities.
