Fort Worth, Texas – the dream of a pastor of Fort Worth to build a new church was put on hold after thieves had stolen building materials worth more than 200,000 US dollars from his property.

Brian Fisher, pastor of the Longvue Avenue Baptist Church, found on Saturday that thieves had broken into his property in the Old Weatherford Road in West Fort Worth and had almost all materials for the new building in his community.

“We scraped and saved” to buy the new church, said Fisher.

The building was broken down and a year ago several trucks and trailers moved its parts into its property. You have been waiting to put the building together until you got the green light from the city of Fort Worth.

The stolen objects include massive, heavy siding and building materials that were kept in containers on the property. Of the 60 isolation rollers that were in a warehouse tank, thieves took all to one.

“We had good locks, but I think if you can destroy the hatch,” said Fisher and examined the damaged camp area.

Fisher believes that theft requires extensive operation that has probably made several trips.

“There is no way in the world that they would think that someone would steal a building because it was everything,” he said.

This marks the second great theft on the property. In December, the tractor of the church was stolen from the same place.

“The courage, the courage, the boldness to come to a property and to do it, is unreal,” said Fisher.

Jessica Cantillo, a member of the small community, said the community was destroyed by the loss on the ground.

“It took a lot to get where we are. It was painful for all of us,” said Cantillo.

The theft has forced the church to put its blueprints on hold. Fisher asks everyone who has experienced suspicious activities in the area to find information.

Fort Worth's police department examines theft. Fisher said the church offers 1,000 US dollars for information that leads to the restoration of its building.
