The construction of a new government office in Manchester city center will enter his last phase by appointing a new contractor.
The Government Property Agency (GPA) has appointed Wates for the implementation of Category B (CAT B) of the first road center according to a WADES competition process.
The company will be responsible for the equipment work of the hub to ensure that the nine -story building for office use is functional. After the latest practical conclusion in category A (category A), it marks another important development in the program.
The Manchester First Street Hub was launched as part of the GPA program of the GPA hub. It is planned for completion in autumn 2026.

The appointment of CAT B contractor was the last major hurdle that she could overcome before the house delivered this extraordinary building directly. The hub offers thousands of officials a state -of -the -art office space and is one of the largest cross -departmental hubs outside of London. It also has enviable sustainability registration information, with the building achieving a Naber 5.5* rating – and ranking to the most sustainable buildings in Great Britain.

Fullst Street Hub was designed only a few minutes from the Oxford Road and Deansgate train stations in such a way that it fulfills class lines and included and fulfilled and accessible design standards.
