The Kentucky College of Design's Lectures, exhibitions and publications of the College of Design in cooperation with the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environments Department of Landscape Architecture offers a dynamic series of events for the spring 2025. This series of events is the second semester of joint events in the Gray Design building since the opening of the square in September 2024.
The events can participate in public and are open to the public, unless otherwise stated.
Spring 2025 lectures and exhibitions
- January 24th to March 14th: Exhibition “Life on Earth” by The World exhibited in the gallery on the first floor of the gray design building exhibited
- Exhibition opening with Beatrice Galilee and McKenna Dunbar at 4 p.m. on January 24th in the David Biagi Forum of the Gray Design Building
- January 29: Queer Designs and Cold War Homophobia Lecture with Carol Mason, professor in the British Department of Gender and Women's Studies, at 4 p.m. in the David Biagi Forum of the Gray Design Building
- February 7th – March 21st: Massimals: League exhibition of the architecture -Associate Professor Jason Scroggin exhibited in the Lexington Art League
- February 7 – March 28: Reconstruction of the feeling of self -disclosure by the assistant professor of the Department of Product Design, Erin Miller and Lisa Kriner exhibited in the Lexington Art League
- February 7th – April 15th: Path Cross: Works by T. Kelly Wilson and Filson & Rohrbacher exhibition exhibited at the 21c Museum Hotel Louisville
- March 3: Future of Sport Summit, together with the future of the Sport Institute and the UK College of Education, in the David Biagi Forum of the Grey Design Building Sponsored
- March 3: Sung Ho Kim from Kent State University and Axi: ome at 4 p.m. in 209 Gray Design Building
- March 5: Deborah Schneiderman from the Pratt Institute at 12:30 p.m. in the David Biagi Forum of the Gray Design Building
- March 14: Wood construction symposium
- March 28-16: Axis Mundi exhibition of the School of Architecture Associate Professor Liz Swanson with Lina Tharsing and Georgia Henkel exhibited in the Lexington Art League
- March 29: Shaker Village Work Weekend
- April 4: Brian Kelly from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, at 4 p.m., location TBD
- April 16: James Timberlake from Kierantimberlake, lecture in cooperation with the East Kentucky Chapter of the America Institute of Architects at 5 p.m. in the David Biagi Forum of the Gray Design Building
- 7. May 2025: Full spectrum: A year in the matchion at COD+LA exhibition, in the student and faculty
