Update: Torrance main post office – California Newsroom

The operations were relocated until further termination

Torrance, approx. – On July 26, the Torrance Main Post Office in the 2510 Monterey Street in Torrance, CA, 90503, were moved to the neighboring facilities as a precaution in the neighboring facilities.

The postal service has completed all tests in the Torrance Post Office and confirms that no materials containing asbestos were identified within the air channel systems or in people in people with people.

However, further tests have found that all remaining properties within the facility with asbestos, including all posts and packages, were contaminated.

From great caution, the United States Post Inspection Service monitors the collection and the respectful disposal of the contaminated mail and packages. While we understand the importance of these articles for our customers, these steps are taken in accordance with the regulations of the federal, state and local Osha and the EPA.

At this point in time, services for the mass -mail entry unit (BMEU) were kept e -mails, callers service and mailbox, which were treated by the Torrance -Hauptpostbüro, as stated below.

BULK Mail entrance unit (Bmeu)

Mon – Thu: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Friday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Closed for lunch: 12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Sa/sun: closed

Customers are reminded of taking the proper photo identification for email and package collection.

This is an emergency setting of this office, not a permanent closure. Further information is provided because you are available for reopening this office.
