Zaha Hadid Architects reveals design for Khalid bin Sultan CityDeveloped for connectivity

In four important columns rooted-intelligent technology, culture and human-articulated Zha's design, a multi-centered city with seven different residential areas, each organized around a central public square.

These bourgeois rooms, which are deliberately on foot from every house in five minutes, offer local amenities and community centers that anchor well -being and social connection.

The heart of the master plan is a 1.2-mile-shady linear park, a meandering green spine, which serves as a leisure escape and community meeting.

This urban oasis does not show up at once – which unfolds through shaped landscapes, calm courtyards and lively community bags. From wildlife ponds and sculpture gardens to wellness zones, cafes and bicycle paths, the park offers a dynamic experience for residents and visitors.

Prioritization of walking fan

The city prioritizes the movability and air -conditioned design. Shaded sidewalks, which are framed by native vegetation, built -in facades and colonnades, promote all -year pedestrian movement. Carefully manufactured landscape design helps to reduce the floor temperatures and to improve comfort in all public areas and to create inviting outdoor areas all day.

The urban framework also includes tree -related boulevards, children's play areas, sports facilities and wellness clinics that can be reached on foot to promote a lifestyle that brings comfort with well -being. Above average, protected terraces and seating outdoors revitalize the street landscapes and promote social interaction.

The business district in Khalid bin Sultan City

On the northern edge, next to the Beah headquarters, a design and a business district are created as a new creative and economic engine for Sharjah. With incubatorous rooms, cultural venues and circular design initiatives, this area supports the growing innovation of the VAE.

From there, the central Green Corridor of the city extends south and combines with retail and entertainment goals.
